Long Live a King Chadwick Boseman to be young gifted and Black

Updated: Aug 31, 2020

With all that has been going on in this world being an African-American being black there a woman of color not being able to actually talk and shed tears today and was able to for someone we have lost in our community that inspires all black people of all age groups this man will forever be missed is the message, his love is Passion disgraceful mess in humbleness thank you for sharing your message thank you for being our hero on-screen and off.

I'm crying tears of joy, pain, and love because his impact on the world and kings and queens will forever be embedded in all of us.

Writing this while crying is not very easy as stated in a few articles he was diagnosed with cancer in 2016 waffle Mania so many amazing movies but I have seen all of them all of his characters all the amazing energy time and effort she gave the one that stood out the most for most of us of African descent what's an African diaspora was Wakanda I mean black panther

Black Panther was a movie that brought African Americans together like nothing else I can say watch that movie probably seven-time or more this movie was a representation of Blackness on a different level not only movie all people of color but it was written and directed by people of color the amount of power and richness and be quiet for a minute gave us so I'm trying not to cry while doing the speech to know he'd give us a superhero that we all need it on the screen to see people that look like you I have someone that is so humbling and caring and didn't showcase its own this or said that but remain humble and caring not only spoke to his character but spoke to him as a person he will forever be missed but what got me the most what's his speech when they received the award for winning the first Academy Awards ever for Marvel Studios.

His speech title to be young gifted and black after hearing the news of his death while at work I didn't believe it at first just like when Michael Jackson died back 2009 while on my way to my brother's graduation in the taxi cab in New York City I remember that moment didn't believe it still. Are you because I feel like people's bodies go but their spirits that speech if you've not read it here it is or heard of yours a video

Full speech

"You know what I think of going to work every day and the passing in the intelligence of the resolve the discipline that everybody showed. I also think, of two questions that we all have received during the course of multiple put publicity runs in one is did we know that this movie was going to receive this kind of response.

Was it going to make billions of dollars? Was going to still be around during this award season? The second question has it change the industry?

The way this industry Works how it sees us this in my answer that is...

To be young gifted and black.

We all know what it's like to be told that there is not a place for you to be free to but yet you're young gifted and black. We know what it's like to be told a there no screen for you to be featured, or a stage for you to be featured on. We know what it's like to be the tail and not the head. We know what it's like to be my beneath and not above.

That's what we went to work with every day because we knew, not that we would be around during the award season at that it would make a billion dollars.

We had something special that we wanted to give the world, that we could be full human beings in the roles that we were playing. That we could create a world that exemplified a word that we wanted to see.

We knew that we had something that we wanted to give, and one thing I do know... Did it change the industry? I know that you can't have the Black Panther now without a two on it. "
