Grape Soda
The new drink of black guys everywhere.
"Shit nigga, wanna get sum kool aid?" "Naw son, da crackas be all up on dat shit, grape soda is da new drink of niggas everywhere."
black people love grape soda.... where did this come from. I have been black my whole life and I don't remember anyone in love with grape soda. Just adding another stereotype of the bucket America really good at that.
Below is very racist suppose to be a funny video
n the early 90's government scientists again altered Grape Soda by adding certain compounds, that when mixed with Newports and Hot Cheetos, creates a.
But to speak seriously, this stereotype comes from artificially flavored sodas being very cheap in many poor (inner city - and sometimes black) communities. Grape soda is usually the highest in sugar content so kids like it the best. But I grew up drinking orange, strawberry, peach, etc. This company had a vending machine in front of the gloriously cheap supermarket right by my house (all drinks were 25 cents):
Basically, anything color combination you can make with corn syrup and artificial flavoring is an automatic success. This could also have to do with it, as well as the flavors being close to Kool-Aid or Hi-C which is also popular anywhere a mom has more than one kid to refresh.
my corner store is located in the area of most low-income areas where you could buy kool-aid for $0.25 a package

and, makes 1 quart, just add the sugar. Well, it might be more maybe $0.50 or more lol. I've had this drank before, in my household growing up we prefer lemonade flavor or lemon.
As with most products, this might be the problem and now not only when people think of "grape drank" they think of black people. I don't know one soul that loves grape drank.
or who calls it "grape drank" homemade grape juice is amazing and taste heavenly can wait to make my grape juice. from real grapes and enjoy it.
