Traveling Light and Healthy
When you're broke but you like food and want food on your trip.
I always bring food with me when I leave you never know when you'd going to stop for food. When you going to stop for water, so here are a few travel snacks. This won't include air travel I'll make another post about that.
This is greyhound road trips, bus trips, train trips.
So here are some of my go-to I prep everything And package it they day before leaving it in a reachable place because I had to get up at 4 am lol 1. Roasted nuts or Seeds and dried fruit
Most of us have a nut in our house if are allergic no worries there are seeds and dried fruit love them and coconut chips. Season, sweeten, salt, or just eat them as is.
2. Stone fruit, bananas, and apples
They are cheap and easy to just threw in a bag and go pair perfect for traveling with. Just don't mush them lol
3. Water like 8 cups of it or more
Water is what makes up most of our body we need it we can go a month without food as long as we have water 1 gallon is perfect.
4. Tea I'd much rather have tea than soda
I love making my limeade with hibiscus so y with monk fruit sweetener perfect and no over processes crap lol. Also, just some green is perfect with a splash of lime juice.
6. Muffin
they are so easy to pack plus homemade and perfect snack after a nap or for breakfast.
7. Pretzel
my favorite they are amazing easy yummy tasty with a side of nut butter i mean why not. Keep everything in a cool spot or in a cooler bag or even in a cooler if tour drive or a mini cooler. For Train rides and long bus ride.
Not suitable for air travel sadly.
Enjoy 💪🏿☺️🌿
