What is Kefir?
Kefir or kephir, is a fermented drink similar to a thin yogurt that is made from kefir grains, a specific type of mesophilic symbiotic culture. The drink originated in the North Caucasus, Eastern Europe and Russia, where it is prepared in milk.
I made mines using water Kefir which is part water part sugar.
Where to get your water kefir :
I brought mines off Amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00NAW6Z7C/?ref=exp_studiovegans_dp_vv_d
How to make your own kefir tea:
In my cast, it was a tea I made my favorite tea. Which I make about four times a month. This time I put about 24 oz in a mason jar covered with cheesecloth and let in sit out for 24 hours . I left it on my kitchen container top.
Next you're going to strain the liquid into a bottle store your kefir grain in sugar part water. In the refrigerator, until you want to make more kefir bubble goodness.
Add you're ( liquid to a flip-top bottle or a mason jar )
Leave it out on your container top for 2-3 days. Making sure to burp it every single day. It will explode if you don't burp it. Just open and close it every day.
On day three or 2 Enjoy over ice and store in the refrigerator
