Our Carbon Foot Print | Fashion | Food & The World

Hi,

My name is Naquasia Founder of Both NLFC ( Nicole ~ Lamar Fashion & Co) & Studio Vegan. I have looked into the impact I've made on the world since I really woke in 2010 before going to college I wanted to study Fashion in 2015

" The True Cost came out"

Changing my whole view on the world of fashion and I no longer brought clothes. I would only buy one pair of sneakers a year. Sometimes none since 2018 I've only purchased one pair no clothes. I started making my own underwear 6 years ago never brought them again. I received a handme-down from a family from time to time. Stop accepting clothes and material items as gifts only ( food, candles and skincare and flowers)

After going vegan three years ago after traveling to Italy

I fully cut back on everything where I live there was barley any wifi or technology it was land and grass I enjoy living in that kind of place living in the moment and just sharing it social media. I took video and never edited them the photo I've never posted because I was living.

I ate what she grows or made she raised her food and made her own the culture shock made me vegan also made me think about minimalist. Why do I hold on this stuff?

Did you know that using a conservative (low) estimate, on average every person creates 2 tons of nasty carbon every single month?

But enjoying the luxuries of modern life today doesn't mean we have to live with creating a negative impact on the planet.

This explains why I keep watching The Lorax

There's so much going on in the world today the horrific the deforestation crisis around the world is, and how it is rapidly accelerating...already 50% worse than it was just last year. You may be reading this article because you just learned that over half of the planet's wildlife has been wiped out from habitat destruction. You may be reading this because you just saw how huge YOUR own carbon footprint is...2 massive tons every month. You are reading this article because all three of these problems are

completely

intricately

connected.

To have ANY hope of solving any of these 3 problems, we have to solve them all. at

8 billion Trees

8% of every living organism direly depends on trees

Our carbon footprint how do we reduce it?

Well, you aren't vegan or you have family and friends who aren't here's a tip.

1. Every day that you forgo meat and dairy, you can reduce your carbon footprint by 8 pounds that's 2,920 pounds a year. You can start by joining Meatless Mondays.

2. Choose organic and local foods that are in season"

3. learn the 5 R's: refuse, reduce, reuse, rot, recycle: Going zero waste is a great step towards combating climate change.
